Perhaps our most finely tuned fly fishing set for sea trout fishing! The Guideline LPX Coastal rod paired with the Guideline Favo Fly Reel and Coastal Evolve line offers a combo with no compromises.
We've also included Fluorocarbon leaders from Vision to complement the package. Simply choose the density of the fly line between Float, Slow Intermediate, and Fast Intermediate. Then match with the leader size that suits your fishing.

Guideline LPX Coastal

In a complex axial pattern (CAP), these prepreg layers are then placed at different angles to maximize strength and stability in all directions. The properties and technical specifications of the materials used in these rods are a level up from those used in our groundbreaking Elevation series.
The LPX Coastal offers spectacular performance and strength despite its incredibly low weight.

We've put together sets with three rods in this series and matched them with lines for optimal casting performance. Read below what Guideline writes about each rod.

9'3" #5 & #6:

The perfect tools for use on calm days on the coast or in sheltered bays where you need to present small shrimp and other smaller flies to shy, cruising sea trout. The rods have a quick and responsive action that sets narrow, fine loops but still handles thinner tips thanks to its sensitive and well-balanced top.

9'3 #7:

All-round rod for coastal fishing around Europe. These rods are built to handle larger flies, more wind and sinking lines, and shooting heads if needed. With their low swing weight and fine contact between tip and bottom part, they make casting and fishing during long sessions a pleasure. The action is fast, but with retained feel and loading down into the lower third of the blank when required.

Guideline Coastal Evolve Fly Line

Guideline Coastal Evolve fly line is a clear and improved upgrade compared to its highly popular predecessor.

Head - Coastal Evolve has slightly more mass in the front part of the head to more easily turn over flies in strong winds, something not uncommon in coastal fishing. This shape of the head also makes it easier to cast flies that are weighted, bulky, or large.

Running line - Unlike the previous Coastal fly line, this fly line has extended the rear taper between the head and the running line. This provides a line that is easier to control when holding a lot of line in the air. The extended rear taper combined with a thinner running line gives the fly fisher a line that is easier to cast longer distances with.

Guideline Favo Fly Reel

These high-tech fly reels are inspired by design elements from our premium Fario LW and VOSSO reels. We've given each reel individual characteristics that best suit its purpose and to match them with the rods the different models are tailored for.
Part of the design is unique and can only be achieved through molding, where the reels are produced with high precision and then CNC treated before the final finish is applied.
